I was very surprised to see our vintage-inspired Bird of Paradise statement necklace go so quickly as it just launched in January 2011. As a stylist with Stella & Dot, I've been trained about the quality of our product as well as level of specificity that the quality control consultants want to see. Because we are growing so quickly (we are one of Inc 500's fastest growing companies from 2010!), pieces can be difficult to produce in mass quantities at the standards level that Stella & Dot's requires or it can be difficult to source our semi-precious stones in consistent shades. I have to think that this is what happened with our Bird necklace as it is a great seller and fun to wear!

The same holds true for our fabulous Casablanca necklace from January's Morocco collection. The lightweight wood married with the sparkly CZ stones and delicate distressed ribbon was one of  my favorite Stella & Dot looks of the year. Pair it now with a turtleneck or with a sundress come warmer weather.
