The "Airplane House" in Parkside Neighborhood - Listed at $179,900

The classic bungalow in Parkside is garnering lots of attention. Built in the 1930's, the home was named "the Airplane House" and its my hunch that it will literally "fly" off the market as it is a true one of a kind! The homes features amazing casement windows, french doors, hardwoods, exposed beams in the living room, and an oversized fireplace (with insanely gorgeous andirons!). The home is just off of Waters Ave.. in the craftsman neighborhood of Parkside.

The home has a large spacious layout downstairs. The living room is large enough for substantial furniture, a large dining room set, and is wide open to the kithchen. The kitchen will need to be updated but the home is totally livable as is. The two downstairs bedrooms are separated by a hall bathroom that will also need a bit of updating, but again, is totally livable as is. Upstairs is where the drama happens - three mini sun rooms plus a half bath could make for a delightful master suite escape or serve as a creative perch for a home office or guest room.

This is one of my favorite homes currently on the market and at $179,900, it will hopefully fall into the right hands! An owner with a preservation background could have a field day enhancing the charm and character that this home obviously possesses.
